Tough Bunny Love

Ta da! This little gal has been on my hook for awhile, and I finally finished her today! The free pattern is from the Lion Brand site and is called Best Bunny. I made it using Knit Pick’s Cotlin yarn (a DK weight) in the coffee colorway, but it reminds me more of chocolate. I made the tail in a light pink cotton yarn that I had leftover from some other project from long ago. I used a size F hook. The pattern is not too difficult, but just working with something so small was a little tough for me. The finished bunny is 6 inches tall. The original pattern calls for an H hook and Wool-Ease yarn, which I think is worsted weight.

I made her for an Easter swap, figures crossed the recipient will appreciate her. I may make it again, but the next time, I might double the CotlLin yarn or use thicker yarn.

Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes. Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.
