I have been banging my head against a technology wall for awhile trying to figure out a way to publish a newsletter for this blog. I tried plug-ins that didn’t work. I checked into various free services and paid services. Finally, I found one that I hope will be a good fit for this blog and for me. Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes.
Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.

Great, I look forward to seeing it. Do you use WordPress? It’s free, awesome -most used blogging tool in the works and has several newsletter plugins. If you look at it and decide you’d like to try I’d take a sot at helping you. You wouldn’t have to quit what you’re doing until you found it did work… Good luck, and as said, I look forward to seeing your newsletter.

Yes, I use wordpress but have my site hosted. I don’t use the freebie wordpress.com site. I did try uploading a plugin, but it would not activate and my ISP would not help me fix it since it is 3rd party software. I ended up going with Mail Chimp, which I have seen other people use before. I appreciate the offer though.
