I have one more final to give before I can finish plugging in all the grades into my spread sheet and upload them. Come Friday, I’ll be officially off the day job until after the new year. Of course, I have a long list of crafting and non-crafting items on my to-do list, which tends to grow the more I think about it:
Work on the file maintenance for my About.com Jewelry Making site while also jamming on some extra jewelry making projects and articles
Update my very inactive Etsy shop!
Continue to work on organizing my office/studio
Work on curriculum for next semester, which includes rethinking my comp I class
Doing some creative writing
Continue the baby afghan I finally started the other day
Get some Emily Dickinson materials together for a super brief seminar I’m teaching in the spring
Starting some research for an article I’d like to write on Jane Austen’s Persuassion
I love my job, but I’m so ready for some time off!
Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes.
Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.

Your Crafty Princess Diaries web blog is awesome. I wish I had more time to explore all its corners. Up here we do things one little step at a time, so I will bookmark it and come back and visit more often. I see some ideas already that my Caleigh turning nine (9) this year, and I, could have some fun trying.
Best to St. Lucie County- my favorite Florida county. . . .

Wow! You have a lot going on right now. After I finish the book I’m reading now I’m going to read Sense and Sensibility. I’ve seen many versions on tv but have never read it. I tried NaNoWriMo for the first time this year. Didn’t make it through. I’m going to continue to work on my story though.
