That’s a pretty awesome doll. Too bad the company didn’t stick with its original vision π

It’s a sad example of what has happened in the US as far as manufacturing is concerned. It is cheaper for them to produce products outside the US, but then that literally means “cheaper,” as in a lower quality product. Even 19 years ago, this doll was pretty expensive, but the quality and craftsmanship are outstanding.
