October is one of my favorite months of the year. We are so close to the holiday season, and the weather changes just a bit down here in Florida, meaning it’s not typically 99 degrees out! While we haven’t really received cold weather yet, there is a mild temperature change that allows more time to enjoy the outdoors. Also, Halloween is full of wonderful childhood memories for me, so it seems perfect for dolls. Each season, I pull out my box of Blythe Halloween doll dresses, most of which I sewed myself, and lots of little bits and bobs for decorations and create a Halloween display shelf in my studio.
