Ah, it is here, and I am so happy with it! Since my hubby does not read my blog (and I am okay with that), I am safe with showing it off a little here, though I know this photograph does not do it justice. This is his birthday gift from me, which I will give to him this next weekend.
This is a pet story board painted by Lori Prell from The Black Dog Gallery. I sent her 10 photographs of our menagerie, and she created this. Let me tell you, too, that it was hard to pick the photos! I love Lori’s whimsical style, and the whole piece is framed and ready to hang on the wall.

I love it! Besides the art work, do you think I could make that? Trying to figure it out. I was thinking to use photographs.

The frame is made of wood, sort of like a shadow box with a slot for each picture. Then the paint is on wood too, I think. Then there is metal bolted around it. I think it is aluminum. She actually has some pictured on her web site: http://www.theblackdoggallery.com/index_files/PetStoryBoards.htm
