Pet Snuggle for Charity

The Yahoo Crochet List group’s June charity challenge is for Bideawee, which is the Manhattan Adoption Center, a pet shelter that participates in the Snuggles project. Hopefully, I will have time to make more, but I did get one 14×14 pet blanket made, and I think the colors are kind of cool together. This is some old Bernat baby yarn I purchased a long time ago. I got it on sale super cheap, and I kept saying I was going to make a baby afghan out of it. I did start a granny square where I had stripes of colors, but I didn’t like how it looked, so recently I frogged it and used two strands together to make this. The photo doesn’t really do it justice, but the colors look really rich woven together like this.

Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes. Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.
