After posting recently about how a simple “thank you” goes a long way when giving your hand-crafted items to charities, I got some great feedback from my readers, which included a few tips on some charity groups that enjoy receiving and have learned to say “thank you.” One is called Right as Rain (thank you, Eileen for the 411), and you can find them on Facebook: “Out to Change the World One Craft at a Time. Right as Rain is a non-profit that sells donated, hand-made crafts and art to help real people in an unexpected crisis. It connects artisans who wish to give their gift as a gift and real people in need.”

This group looks super organized, and what’s extra cool is that even if you don’t have time to make a bunch of items to donate, you can go shopping in their store and still help someone in need. They sell accessories, art, clothing, kids items, jewelry (yeah!), and a lot more. I’m definitely going to check them out, and I hope you do as well.
