Another Amigurumi Bird

I have a large bag that I try to keep a good portion of my amigurumi supplies in, mainly yarn of course. I was digging around in it a few days ago and discovered one blue wing from the first blue bird I made. I have no idea why I had one wing. Maybe I was going to make another blue bird, or maybe this wing didn’t match a second wing I had made for the bird and I had to make a third wing.

Rather than frog the wing, I decided to make another bird and re-purpose the wing; however, I used pink for the body, but the wings are both blue. It was fun making another quick amigurumi project, and now I have 9 completed for donating.

Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes. Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.
