Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as β€œthe princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes. Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.

  1. That baby hat with the flower is just the cutest thing!!

  2. I just did my first cross stitch, Tammy. My eyes aren’t great either, but I switch my prescription glasses for drugstore cheapy reading glasses with a higher power. I also have a terrific portable Ott light, which you just open (unfold) to light up. I just love it. I can angle the light as needed and get it right next to my project.

The Ravelry sharing sounds like fun. Thanks for the podcast. Lots of cute stuff πŸ™‚

  3. Thanks Cyndi….they are fun to make now that I know how πŸ™‚

Eileen – You are so lucky you can use drug store glasses! The last time I attempted contacts, I tried reading glasses but could never find any that worked. And, it kind of defeated the purpose of the contacts LOL
