Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes. Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.

  1. These are great videos! Very informative and I love the end product! I am curious though… if you have to wait for the resin to set several hours between coats, doesn’t the resin also set up in the bottle he’s pouring from?

  2. Great videos! I just ordered some resin so these were very timely for me. Thanks for sharing.

Yes it probably would, so I think he has to mix new resin for each time he pours it.

  4. Wow–his tut is great! I’ve had resin for a while and even know what I want to do, but was afraid of messing it up. Now I have even more ideas! Thanks for sharing this with everyone.

  5. Yes, this is an excellent tutorial. Someone posted a link to the first one on my jewelry making forum, and after watching it I had to watch the other 2, so I figured I’d put all 3 up here.
