Major Delica Destash Alert

I received an email about a major destash of Delica beads going on, and I thought I’d pass the word along for those beadweavers, especially peyote folks, who may be interested.

Gini, the owner of Carpebeadum.com has had some recent health issues that have forced her to close up her web shop and clear out her inventory. In order to do it as quickly as possible, she has started a blog and organized a ticket program where she will give the entire stash away to the winning ticket number.

Now, I will say the tickets aren’t cheap, $100 each, but she is talking about a huge amount of Delicas (also not cheap), and it might be something a group of beadweavers could go in on together to purchase a ticket. Then if they won, they could split up the stash amongst themselves.

You can find all the details of how this will work, including an FAQ list as well as detailed inventory list on her web site: http://www.carpebeadum.com.

Even though she has figured out a way to destash in one big lump give-a-away, this still seems like a major undertaking, so I wish her the best of luck as well as the hope that she will recover from the health problems she has had to deal with.

Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes. Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.
