Show Off Your Rubber Stamp Skills

How many times do you show your work to your family? Like on a daily basis, practically? And, eventually, though they love you, you get the “eye roll,” as in, “Will she ever stop?”

If you are a rubber stamper or mixed-media artist who incorporates stamps into your work, then I have discovered a place where you can show off your skills all day long with other liked-minded rubber stamp lovers: the About.com Rubber Stamp Forum. Kate Pullen, the Guide to the Rubber Stamp site at About.com, is looking stampers of all levels to participate in an on-going forum show and tell.

Each week, she also features a different type of rubber stamp. This week it’s cats. The image (pictured left) is a design she created after she purchased the cat stamp from Stampsmith. Kate colored the image with subtle shades using pencil colors and included a few dots of Ranger Ink‘s Stickles to add a little sparkle to the edges.

So stop by her forum and show off your own amazing designs.

Welcome to the Crafty Princess Diaries, my weblog and site where I get to blab about my passion for crafts, primarily jewelry making, and my crafting career. My name is Tammy Powley, and I decided to call my blog the Crafty Princess Diaries because of this very dorky picture I have of myself and because my husband often refers to me as “the princess and the pea,” which is just another way to say that I tend to be particular sometimes. Along with this weblog, I have a number of jewelry making books published.
