October is here, and it is still plenty early to get going on some easy Halloween crocheted items. Of course, Amigurumi comes to mind right away when I think about fast crochet fun. One of my favorite go-to places on the Web for free and easy patterns is the Lion Brand web site. You have to sign up for a free membership to get to the free patterns, but that is pretty painless and I think well worth it.

Along with the Count pictured above, the site has other great crochet patterns that are very simple to make like a witch’s hat, ghost, pumpkin baby bib, spiders, and much more.
